WHITTINGTON'S bowlers ran riot as they beat Aldridge 2nds at home to record their first league win of the season.
After being sent into bat first, the visitors had a torrid afternoon as just three players made it into double figures.
The innings eventually lasted less than 28 overs as Aldridge were skittled out for just 66.
The damage was done by Adulwali Safi with 5-12 and Sam Speight's 4-18. The other wicket went to Matt Griffiths.
The total never looked like much of a challenge for Whittington, but there will have been nerves when Shazad Malik and Charlie Bennett were back in the pavilion with the scoreboard reading 7-2.
But Martin Weston's unbeaten 53 from 27 balls saw the hosts cruise past the target with less than 14 overs played.
