Burntwood Action Group to hold public meeting over future of the town

Plans for the future of Burntwood will go on display this week.

Burntwood Action Group is hosting the public meeting at St Matthews Social Club at 7.30pm on April 26.

Among the items up for discussion are the plans to regenerate Burntwood town centre, improvements to local infrastructure, increased affordable housing and protection of the Green Belt.

A spokesperson for the group said: “The meeting will be attended by members of Burntwood Town Council and representatives from both Lichfield District Council and Staffordshire County Council.

“There will be a question and answer session immediately following the presentation.”
