A new life-saving defibrillator has been installed in Chasetown after a local company helped to pay for it.
Cameron Homes contributed £425 towards the cost of putting the equipment in at its central office on the High Street.
Cllr Darren Ennis said: “It was brilliant working alongside Cameron on this project.
“The more of these life-saving defibrillators we can get around Burntwood the better.
“With local businesses and people supporting the supply and installation of these, the safer Chasetown and Burntwood will be.
“On behalf of Burntwood I would like to thank Cameron for supporting this initiative and allowing it to be fitted onto their building for use by the whole of the community.”
Elizabeth Fernihough of Cameron Homes said that as a local business, with two offices in the town, the company was pleased to be able to help.
“We are very much part of the Chasetown community, having been founded here over 25 years ago, so were very willing to arrange for the installation of this vital equipment outside our office,” she said.
