Addfield Environmental Systems Limited specialise in thermal processing of solid waste.

The company has moved its business from five sites to one location in Burntwood and have now been handed the money to expand by the Business Innovation Programme.

The grant will be spent on improving the organisational elements of the business, including the bespoke production management software.

Steve Lloyd, managing director at Addfield Environmental Services, said: “We now have an advanced system in place that will handle every stage of the sale and production process all the way through the delivery and commissioning.

“When you are already distributing to over 95 countries you need to be able to monitor all of these elements seamlessly in one place.

“Receiving the grant has enabled continuous growth with the company already creating a number of permanent positions from early 2018, with several more planned throughout the year and into 2019 as future expansion plans are realised.”
