Burntwood Leisure Centre is throwing open its door to showcase some of the activities it has on offer.
The centre will be hosting an open weekend on January 26 and 27 with demonstrations from local sports clubs, discounted activities and free access to the gym.
Inspire Fitness is also offering free taster sessions, as well as organising games and challenges to raise money for Midland Air Ambulance. The sessions can booked in advance, by calling 01543 308810. A
On both days, anyone can play badminton, squash, table tennis or basketball for £2 on a first come, first served basis.
The swimming offer, Splashtastic, is also running over the weekend, with two children under 16 years of age able to swim for just 50p when accompanied by a full paying adult. Young people, aged from 8 to 16, can swim unaccompanied for £1.
Councillor Val Richards said: “We hope lots of people come to our Open Weekend to see what is available.
“From the swimming pools and gym, through to all the classes, Burntwood Leisure Centre offers great value facilities to the local community. There will be lots of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy, so do come along and enjoy the weekend event.”
