Burntwood Town FC face a tough test in their bid to get their first points of the season on the board.
A defeat in the league and one in the cup have not been the ideal start for last season’s strugglers, but they know a win against Alcester Town on Saturday (August 23) will be the ideal pick-me-up.
But their visitors set a marker for their season with a 5-1 win on the opening day of the Midland Football League Division Three season.
