Burntwood Town FC suffered their ninth league defeat in a row as they went down 2-0 at Austrey Rangers.
With no points and only four goals to their name in the Midland Football League Division Three this season, Town find themselves firmly anchored to the foot of the table, eight points adrift of their nearest rivals – but they do have three games in hand.
Goals from Michael Bloore and Jamie King were enough to seal their latest defeat.
Burntwood will be desperate to get off the mark when they entertain another of the division’s strugglers, Enville Athletic, on Saturday (November 29), kick-off 2pm.
