Old defensive bad habits surfaced again as Burntwood Town FC fell to a heavy 5-1 defeat at Perrywood.
Bill Aiton’s men had enjoyed a recent run of positive performances, but found their mid-table hosts a tough nut to crack.
The result means that Burntwood stay bottom but one of the Midland Football Combination Division Two. However, they do have six games in hand on three of the four teams directly above them in the table.
Town will look to rediscover their positive form when they entertain Austrey Rangers on Saturday (March 29).
