Burntwood Town FC’s season received a welcome boost as they won their basement battle with Inkberrow.
The 2-1 victory sees Bill Aiton’s men move eight points clear of the bottom side and move within five points of FC Stratford in the Midland Football Combination Division Two relegation battle.
Goals from Dean Williams and Damion Kerr-Robinson were enough to secure the win.
They will hope to build on the morale-boosting triumph when they take on league hopefuls Paget Rangers next Saturday (March 8).
