Comedy heroes Cannon and Ball will be among the cast of a new show at the Lichfield Garrick.
They will be joined on stage in Ha Ha Hood and the Prince of Leaves by former Hi De Hi! star Su Pollard.
Set at the time of Robin Hood, the show promises to take the audience on a laughter-packed, alternative look at life in Sherwood Forest.
A spokesperson said: “Ten years after a messy divorce Robin and Marian are forced back together to fight the Sheriff once more.
“Little John and Friar Tuck, now considerably older and rougher around the edges, join the merry pair to try and save the citizens of Nottingham.”
The show takes to the stage in the city on October 22 and 23. Tickets are £20 and can be booked by calling 01543 412121 or visiting the Lichfield Garrick box office.
