A LICHFIELD care home has donated £750 to a local school.
The money was handed over to Scotch Orchard Primary School by Stowe Mount after fundraising efforts to mark the home's first anniversary.
The milestone was marked by a celebration saw the community enjoy live entertainment, stalls, games, food and refreshments.
The money will be used to help develop a new outdoor production area at the school.

Rebecca Bristow, general manager at Stowe Mount, said:
"We were so pleased to have been able to raise this amount towards Scotch Orchard Primary School’s outdoor production area.
"Thank you to everyone who came along to our first anniversary to celebrate a fantastic year with us and donated to the cause.
"We look forward to seeing the first outdoor production at the school."
