A FORMER Aston Villa academy ace has become the latest new face through the door at Chasetown.
Manager Carl Dickinson has moved to sign former Northern Ireland under-19 man Ethan Patterson.
The 25-yar-old centre back's previous clubs include Alvechurch, Bromsgrove Sporting and Evesham United.
The Scholars boss said:
"Ethan's another strong signing for us. He's been a consistent performer at higher levels with some excellent clubs and that's reflected in the experience and quality he'll bring to the group."
Elsewhere, the Scholars have also been boosted by the news that George Cater has committed for the coming season.
Dickinson said:
"George has that special quality that can turn a game on its head.
"Players like him are incredibly difficult to replace, so we're delighted he'll continue to create and deliver those big moments for Chasetown."
