LOCAL charities and community organisations are being invited to get involved in an annual festive fundraiser.
The Lichfield Round Table Santa Sleigh brings cheer to local streets throughout December with families given the chance to see Father Christmas and support good causes.
Each evening, Santa's sleigh will be joined by representatives from local organisations to help raise funds – and applications to take part open tomorrow (16th October).
Daniel White, chairman of Lichfield Round Table, said:
"We're incredibly proud of what our Santa Sleigh has become. It's about much more than bringing Father Christmas to people's doorsteps – it's about spreading festive cheer, supporting worthwhile causes and creating magical memories for families across Lichfield.
"Every year, we're amazed by the generosity of local residents and the enthusiasm of the organisations that get involved.
"The Santa Sleigh simply wouldn't be possible without the fantastic volunteers who give up their time to make it happen. We're looking forward to welcoming applications from charities, local groups and not-for-profit organisations who want to be part of something special this Christmas."
