People in Lichfield and Burntwood are being offered the chance to win a place on a leading cookery course.
Bagged salad producer Florette is running a culinary contest as part of its sponsorship of the Lichfield Festival Market, which takes place on July 6.
The ‘One Minute Wonder’ competition sees people sharing their recipes for making a tasty salad-based dish in just 60 seconds. The five best ideas will be brought to life in a cook-off on the day.
Niki Webster, from Florette, said: “As proud sponsors of the market, we’re delighted to be bringing our interactive One Minute Wonder kitchen to this year’s event where we’ll be inspiring visitors to recreate healthy and fun dishes in their own kitchens.
“We look forward to receiving some fresh and exciting recipe ideas.”
Entries can be made via Florette’s Facebook page from today (June 6), with winners announced on June 25.
Winners will earn a place at the Seasoned Cookery School, based at the Catton Hall Estate near Lichfield, as well as tickets to see comedian Chris Addison at the Lichfield Festival on July 12.
