Chasetown FC have snapped up James Dance from Stafford Rangers.

The 28-year-old is a winger by trade but can play central midfield too.

He has previously had spells with Luton, Kidderminster and Crawley.

Dance helped Rangers finish within touching distance of a play-off place last season. He also scored the first goal against the Scholars when the two sides met last April.

Meanwhile, Chris Cowley has left the club to sign for Coleshill.
