Chasetown FC goalkeeper Ryan Price is hoping to return to first-team action against Stamford.
Price has been out since sustaining an injury in the first game against AFC Wulfrunians in the FA Cup.
But after coming through a thorough workout with goalkeeping coach John Birt, Price has been cleared to return to action for Saturday’s game – providing he can wrestle the gloves from understudy Martin Taylor.
Price said:
“I probably could have been fit for Tuesday against Willenhall, but the gaffer said to get a good training session with John Birt so that’s what I did. Thankfully, there were no side effects so, touch-wood, I should be okay for Stamford.”
