BURNTWOOD will look to bounce back from defeat on the opening day of the league season when they travel to Newport (Salop) 2nds this weekend.
The Sportsway side were beaten 31-12 by Willenhall last time out, with Neil Holden's men looking to kickstart their campaign on Saturday (3rd October).
They will be hoping to draw on the form that saw them lift the Staffordshire Intermediate Trophy the weekend before instead.
Elsewhere this weekend, Burntwood 2nds will also be looking for a better showing than their previous outing when they went down 71-7 at Essington.
Dan Black's men will welcome Telford Hornets 2nds to the Sportsway on Satu.
