Tickets have gone on sale for a sporting evening in Burntwood with a man who had a unique glimpse of life inside the Aston Villa dressing room.
Physio Jim Walker was a fixture at Villa Park from 1986 until 2004, working under the likes of Graham Taylor, Josef Venglos, Ron Atkinson and Brian Little.
And now he will be talking about his career – which also included playing at Derby County under Brian Clough – at the event organised by Chasetown FC’s Supporters’ Club.
A spokesperson said:
“Jim has worked with players such as Paul McGrath, Paul Merson, David Platt, Savo Milosevic and others. There is many a story to tell!”
