People are being urged to take part in a fundraising event at Chasewater Country Park.
The 2016 Sport Relief Mile will take place on March 20 and has already seen 100 people sign up.
Last year’s event attracted 300 participants and Staffordshire County Councillor Mark Winnington said he hoped even more would join in the fun this time around.
“This year is another great chance for everyone to walk or run themselves proud,” he said. “From little ones with their mums and dads, to runners up against the clock, there’s something for everyone.
“Walking and running are great activities too that help you feel better and keep you healthier, so as well as raising money for charity your also doing yourself some good.”
