Staff and users of Burntwood Leisure Centre are celebrating after raising more than £600 for Children in Need.
The centre hosted an eighties disco-themed Body Combat Challenge on November 8, which saw 40 local people don their fluorescent leg warmers and sweat bands to take part in a strenuous workout led by four qualified instructors.

The three hour session combining moves from a range of self-defence disciplines, including karate, boxing and taekwondo, into an energetic routine.
Aerobic instructor Bridget Foden said:
“The Body Combat Challenge was a great success! More than 40 people took part and helped raise £670 for Children in Need.
“Each year seems to be better and better and everyone pulls out all the stops in dressing up and raising money for such a good cause.”
