A special Christmas Eve reading of Twas The Night Before Christmas will take place at the Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum later this month.
A costumed storyteller will relive the festive tale in the historic house at 2pm on Christmas Eve.
A spokesperson said: “The short event is the perfect way to start the festive evening, or even just to have a break while doing the final Christmas shopping.”
Admission is free.
