A COMEDIAN has been forced to cancel a sold-out show in Lichfield.
Milton Jones had been due to perform at the Garrick on 2nd July.
But the funnyman said health issues had forced the cancellation of a number of upcoming dates.
He said:
“I’m so sorry about this, but I ned to announce the cancellation of several dates from my ongoing tour.
“This difficult decision comes following a recent diagnosis of treatable prostate cancer.
“I’ll be undergoing surgery soon and will need time afterwards to fully recover.
“Ticket holders for the cancelled shows will be contacted directly by the venue box office.
“This decision has not been taken lightly. I look forward to being back out on the road again soon.”
