A CHARITY quiz night has helped to raise more than £1,700 for St Giles Hospice.

Construction consultants Greenwood Projects hosted the event at Lichfield Guildhall as part of the company's 40th anniversary celebrations.

More than 100 participants pitted their wits against ten rounds of questions, as well as hearing from the hospice's chair of trustees about the work of the hospice in the local area.

A spokesperson for Greenwood Projects said:

"Attending the quiz were clients past and present, from architects to conservation specialist who were all excited to be part of a fun evening, as well as a lot of Greenwoods colleagues who helped behind the scenes by running the bar, selling raffle tickets, ushering and being a part of our ownquiz team. None of it would have been possible without their hard work and enthusiasm."

The winners of the quiz were BHB Architects who took home the Greenwoods Quiz Shield.
