PEOPLE are being asked for their views on proposals to restore and protect the local natural environment.
Staffordshire County Council has launched a consultation on the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS),.
The document sets out priorities, outcomes actions, and targets for improving habitats, protecting wildlife and enhancing natural spaces. It has been developed in partnership and consultation with councils, environmental organisations, farmers, landowners and other key stakeholders from across the area.
Cllr Hayley Coles, Staffordshire County Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for communities and culture, said:
"We want as many people as possible to look at the strategy and tell us what they think, before we focus more on delivery.
"Whether it’s local green spaces, wildlife or the places we enjoy every day, your views will help shape how we protect and improve them for the future."
People can view the strategy online and give their views via a survey.
