A LICHFIELD school is celebrating footballing success.
King Edward VI School saw Year 10 students lift the county cup with a 2-0 win over Trentham.
They had secured their spot in the final after going unbeaten across the season, including a nail-biting penalty shootout win over Codsall in the semi-final.
A spokesperson for the school said:
“They were outstanding in the final and we are incredibly proud of them.”
