Drivers in Lichfield are facing more delays as roadworks take place on the A5127 Burton Road.
Temporary traffic lights have returned to the junction with the new Roman Heights housing development in Streethay, causing queues to back up towards Lichfield Trent Valley and the A38.
It’s the latest in a string of disruptions on the key route, with regular roadworks and repairs taking place since a 12-week closure of the road in July 2016.
There is no indication as yet how long the latest set of temporary lights to appear will be in place for.
