A DUO will return to their former home city as part of the promotional tour for their new album.
A Different Thread are currently based in North Carolina, but will return to the UK – and Lichfield – for a 20-date run of shows in support of the release of 'Over Again'.
Alicia Best and Robert Jackson will perform at The Hub at St Mary's on 16th October.
The pair first met busking on the streets of Ireland and have since toured internationally, developing a harmony-driven sound that blends Appalachian alt-country and British folk-rock into a bluesy take on Americana.
Their songs explore personal stories alongside bigger questions about mental health, social change and the relationship with the environment, all with an underlying sense of hope.
