Former Chasetown FC defender Joe Williams has signed for Stourbridge.
The centre-back was released along with goalkeeper Lee Evans at the end of last season.
But Glassboys boss Gary Hackett has moved quickly to secure the services of Williams, according to the Stourbridge News.
The former Willenhall Town, Bromsgrove Rovers and Ludlow Town player joined the Scholars in November 2006 and was an integral part of the Chasetown team that reached the third round of the FA Cup in 2008.
