Folk star Miranda Sykes will perform songs from her new album Borrowed Places when she returns to the Lichfield Guildhall next month.
The singer and bassist has clocked up a career spanning more than two decades and is returning to her roots as a solo performer to showcase sounds from new release Borrowed Places.
The album takes inspiration from the songs and landscapes of her native Lincolnshire through the eyes of someone who has lived away for many years.
A Lichfield Arts spokesperson said: “Anyone who has seen Show of Hands will know what a special talent Miranda Sykes is, but to hear her solo, within the sonic majesty of Lichfield Guildhall playing and singing her own songs will be a treat to be treasured.”
