The Folk Fridays series will continue at The Hub at St Mary’s when singer-songwriter Jake Morgan returns to Lichfield.
Originally from the city and now living in Bristol, the 41-year-old performer draws influences from his life and travels for his musical work.
Predominantly an acoustic solo performer, Jake has released three albums of original songs and his music has been played on radio stations around the world.
Robert Jackson, from Folk Fridays organiser Transatlantic Folk, said:
“Jake has one of those voices that’s instantly recognisable – somehow both a roaring howl and a tender whisper.
“His songwriting and playing are top drawer and I’m excited to catch his new band at their Lichfield debut.”
