THE judging panel has been confirmed for the 2026 Beacon Awards.
Five figures from business, culture and the community will help decide on the winners.
Organised by Lichfield District Council, the Beacon Awards celebrate the businesses, organisations and individuals making an "exceptional" contribution to the district.
Among the judging panel will be Palletways director Rob Gittins, the Lichfield Garrick's director of development and partnerships Matt Clay, Roxane UK's sales and marketing director Terri-Anne Cooper, Lichfield Cathedral's chief operating officer Simon Warburton and Lichfield District Council's Cllr Richard Holland.
They will be joined by 2025 winner Maggie Huckfield, the founder and CEO of Liberty Jamboree.
Cllr Holland said:
"We’re delighted to welcome such an impressive group of people to judge this year’s Beacon Awards.
"Between them, they bring a wealth of experience from some of our district's most successful and respected organisations.
"With nominations closing today (16th October), I’d encourage businesses of all sizes to put themselves forward.
"Whether you’re a growing independent business, an established employer or someone making a real difference in your community, we want to hear your story."
Winners will be celebrated at the Beacon Awards ceremony on 3rd December at the Royal British Legion National Remembrance Gardens.
