A free taster session is being offered for people who want to learn how to code.
The computing skill will be showcased during a drop in session at Lichfield Library from 11am to 1pm on April 12.
Organisers hope the Lichfield {Code:City} initiative will lead to regular events.
“This is a chance to learn the basics of code in a fun way,” a spokesperson said.
“The event is for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
“Come along and help us make Lichfield the ‘Code City’ of the Midlands.”
