A FUNDRAISING campaign has been launched after Chasetown footballer suffered an ACL injury.
Lewi Burnside, who previously turned out for Lichfield City before making the move to The Scholars Ground, requires surgery after suffering the injury.
A spokesperson said:
“Football means everything to Lewi and this setback has hit him hard.”
As well as the online fundraiser, the club is also collecting donations at the gate during their New Year’s Day game against Hednesford Town.
