A FUNDRAISING “mini festival” in Abbots Bromley has hit the right notes for charity.
Chatstock was the brainchild of guitarist Lee Chapman who was inspired to organise the event in memory of his father.
Taking place at The Goats Head in the village, the event saw performances from the likes of The Rescue Blues, Mint and The Brightsides.
Lee said:
“I wanted to do something to remember my Dad, who passed away in 2020. He carried the amps and was the spirit behind my original band Mint for so long.
“This mini festival with good food, a few drinks and excellent live music was a great way to remember him – and raising a bit of money for Katherine House Hospice that cared for him is the perfect legacy.”
More than £1,000 was raised at the event.
