A GARDEN centre has helped to raise more than £3,000 for charity.

The Dobbies store in Shenstone has supported a wider effort across the company’s outlets to support Alzheimer’s Research UK.

In total, the chain has donated £235,000 to the charity since March 2025.

Claire Astle, general manager of Dobbies’ Shenstone store, said:

“We truly appreciate everything our colleagues and customers have done to support our partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK over the past year and would like to thank everyone for their involvement.

“From charity initiatives in-store and our dedicated Christmas Shopping Night, to colleague fundraising challenges, we’ve come together to make a real difference.”

Dr Sheona Scales, director of research at Alzheimer’s Research UK, added:

“We are incredibly proud to work with Dobbies. This partnership is helping us share the message of brain health while raising vital funds to help end the heartbreak of dementia.”
