Another of Chasetown FC’s squad has committed his future to the club for an extra year.
Goalkeeper John Bateman has already clocked up more than 100 appearances for The Scholars.
A Chasetown spokesperson confirmed he was the ninth of last season’s squad to stay on, while four new faces have been added.
But the Scholars have lost record appearance holder Chris Slater as well as George Washbourne and Rhys Thompson.
