A comic who shot to fame in ITV’s Show Me The Funny will be the special guest as a Lichfield comedy night relaunches.
The George IV will see the return after a Christmas break of Half a Dog Comedy on March 14.
Organiser Jon Pearson is keen to build on the success of the nights and will see Dan Mitchell, who finished as a runner-up in the ITV show, headlining the first night back.
Jon said: “The George IV venue is a fantastic intimate comedy venue, ideal for new acts on the circuit and circuit regulars to try out new material.
“I want to bring a mix of both to Lichfield on a monthly basis for good quality nights of comedy.”
Half a Dog is set to run on the second Wednesday of every month from March 14 onwards. Doors will open at 8pm and tickets are on sale from George IV on Bore Street in Lichfiled or online at WeGotTickets.com.
