A junior Burntwood football team is celebrating after reaching a cup final in its first ever season.
Midland Soccer Academy under 10s will take their place in the Lichfield and District Recreational League showpiece at Chasetown FC’s Scholars Ground on April 22.
A spokesperson for the club said: “This is a fantastic achievement for the club and the team as we are currently competing in our first season.”
Midland Soccer Academy currently runs teams at under 10 and under 11, with an under 13 team to follow next season. The club is based at Cherry Close in Burntwood.
