Junior players from Burntwood RUFC are celebrating after returning victorious from a mini-rugby festival in Hinckley.
The under 10 side started brightly with a 6-1 win over Barkers Butts, before securing a 4-0 triumph against Nuneaton.
The hosts were next up for Burntwood who came away with a 3-1 scoreline. It was four wins out of four when Paviors were beaten 6-1, setting up a final with local rivals Lichfield.
A hard bought encounter saw the score finish 1-1 – but the competition rules mean Burntwood scoring first handed them the title.
