A second half goal from Liam Kirton was enough to earn Chasetown FC a draw in their final pre-season friendly.
Halesowen Town took the lead just after half-time.
But the equaliser came when Liam Kirton reacted quickly and thundered a shot home – his fourth goal of the pre-season campaign.
Meanwhile, The Scholars have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Michael Townsend.
The 33-year-old has previously turned out for the likes of Cheltenham, Hereford, Barnet, Tamworth and Rushall Olympic, with more than 200 Football League games under his belt.
