The icy weather has caused chaos with the Lichfield and Burntwood sporting calendar.
Chasetown FC and Lichfield City FC both saw their games postponed.
The Scholars were due to take on Market Drayton Town, while Dean Gilbert’s Lichfield side missed out on facing Kenilworth Town KH.
Chasetown’s Reserves also saw their visit to Barwell called off.
Our local rugby sides didn’t have more luck with their fixtures as Burntwood RUFC’s action fell victim to the weather, while Lichfield RUFC were unable to extend their lead at the top of the table because of frozen pitches.
