The city could cement its place on the jazz map during 2016, according to the president of Lichfield Arts.
An impressive line-up of acts will take to the stage in the city next year.
The Lichfield Garrick, Lichfield Arts and the George IV already have a number of jazz events scheduled/
They include:
- January 13 – Christine Tobin @ Lichfield Garrick
- January 20 – Nick Dewhurst Quintet @ George IV
- January 29 – Remi Harris @ Lichfield Garrick
- Feburary 17 – Callum Roxburgh Orchestra @ George IV
- February 17 – Partikel’s String Theory @ Lichfield Garrick
- March 15 – Phil Robson Organ Trio @ Lichfield Garrick
- March 16 – Imperial Suit @ George IV
- June 24-26 – Lichfield Blues & Jazz Festival
Lichfield Arts president Brian Pretty said: “Lichfield is on its way to becoming the jazz capital of the Midlands in 2016.”
