A Lichfield business is celebrating its first birthday with a party.
The Spark Cafe Bar will reach the milestone on August 16 after being launched in 2011 by Della Shipton and Sejal Patel.
As well as offering food a drink, the venue has also hosted music nights, exhibitions, book clubs and quiz nights.
Birthday celebrations have already started with The Spark’s Facebook fans and Twitter followers being asked to share their First Spark experience. There will also be competitions and giveaways in the run up to August 16.
The first birthday party will see the return of The Strumtroopers, the first live act to play at The Spark, providing the music to mark the celebrations.
“We are really excited about the plans to mark our first birthday,” Sejal said. “As we’ve been making preparations, we have remembered so many first Spark moments and it’s great that we get to celebrate with some of our friends, suppliers and loyal customers.
“Della, the rest of the team and I are really looking forward to the party.”
