A Lichfield chef is raising a glass after being named as an ambassador for a beer company.
Estrella Damn have given the accolade to Liam Dillon after being commended in the company’s Top Gastropub Guide for a number of years.
The owner of The Boat Inn joins chefs at fine dining establishments who are relaxed about serving beer as well as wine with their dishes.
He said:
“To be joining the likes of Michelin starred restaurateurs Adam Handling and Chris Galvin as an ambassador is very humbling. To be mentioned in the same sentence is spine tingling.
“I hope to show that fine dining can be enjoyed with any drink.”
