Four-legged friends will be blessed at a church service in Lichfield.
Organised by the Hall Green Retired Greyhound Trust, all dogs and their owners are invited to St Michael’s Church at 2.30pm on December 11.
A spokesperson said: “There will be a special pet blessing by the Reverend Linda Collins and Christmas Carols, sung with great gusto and a bark or two to add to the melody, followed by mince pies and refreshments.”
Donations will be going to the Hall Green Retired Greyhound Trust charity, which has kennels in Shenstone.
