Lichfield City put in another encouraging pre-season performance as they held last term’s league champions Walsall Wood to a goalless draw.
On a stiflingly hot day, chances were at a premium as the evenly-matched sides cancelled each other out.
City’s pre season campaign concludes on Tuesday (July 30) with a home game against Polesworth, kick off 7.45pm.
