Lichfield City FC are gearing up for a bumper attendance as they kick off their season with an historic FA Cup tie.

Dave Langston’s men will face Wolverhampton Casuals in the first ever tie to be played in the city.

Lichfield previously turned out in the FA Cup two seasons ago, but were drawn away in each of the rounds they contested.

City will go into the game on the back of a positive pre-season, although they will be without the suspended Liam Holt.

Kick-off at Brownsfield Park is at 3pm tomorrow (August 6). Entry is £5 adults, £3 concessions and £1 for under 16s.
