Lichfield City FC are looking for a new manager after suffering a second defeat in a week.

Simon Bell had taken over the reins following Paul Holt’s departure earlier this season.

But a 2-1 loss against Studley has led to another change.

A post on the club’s Twitter account said: “Lichfield City FC are looking for a new management team.”

There is likely to be plenty of interest in the position, with City currently sitting eighth in Division One of the Midland Football League, nine points off the top with two games in hand.

They are also still in the FA Vase, with a trip to Aston on the horizon on October 4.
