Lichfield City FC’s hopes of continuing their climb up the Midland Combination Premier Division will have to be put on hold after their game with Coventry Copsewood was postponed.
Wet weather left their Brownsfield Park pitch under water and a mid-morning inspection confirmed that the game couldn’t go ahead.
City’s reserves also saw their game at Tamworth called off, while Barton United’s Division Two home game with FC Stratford fell foul of the conditions too.
