A second half collapse saw Lichfield City FC slump to a disappointing defeat against struggling Pershore Town.
A heavy surface at Brownsfield Park made conditions tough for both sides, but an even first half saw little in the way of clear cut chances.
But Lichfield took advantage of a goalmouth scramble as Kyle Minto fired home on 32 minutes.
City will have undoubtedly hoped to build on their momentum in the second period, but Pershore came out with a renewed vigour and drew level after the break.
Gavin Hurren went close to restoring his side’s lead, only to see the visitors get their noses in front and then add a third.
City pressed for a route back into the game but saw an effort cleared off the line as Pershore’s backline held firm.
The result leaves Lichfield 13th in the Midland Football League Division One and facing a tough home test against high-flying Hinckley United on Saturday (February 21).
